I do remember going into his studio every day to ask:
"Daddy, what ya doing?"
"Making jewelry," he'd say.
"Can I help?"
And like the sweet father that he is he'd let me help.
That was the beginning!
That began a lifetime apprenticeship. Eventually making jewelry paid my way through college to get a degree in Geography and then later replaced my geography day job. Creating beautiful things is in me, it's part of me. Gratefully that love has passed on to my own children. With my adult daughter Asia creating jewelry by my side, Street Bauble has headquarters in both Utah and Maine, selling jewelry at local events and online. And the Geographer in me still delights to think of my jewelry going off on little adventures to see the world.
